Dr. J. Craig Stevens serves as a specialist in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Also known as PM&R or physiatry, his specialty concerns an array of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders, though the practice tends to concentrate specifically on the diagnosis and treatment of issues in which physical incapacity remains a primary concern. Seeking to maximize the rate of return of a patient’s complete previous functionality, Dr. J. Craig Stevens engages physiatry as a powerful and highly effective intersection of neurology, rheumatology, and non-surgical orthopedics. Dr. J. Craig Stevens holds an MD through New York Medical College and has years of diverse professional experience. Currently licensed to practice medicine in the states of Washington and Idaho, he possesses accreditation through the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. J. Craig Stevens also holds memberships in the American Medical Association, the Idaho Medical Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the International Rehabilitation Medicine Association, and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. J. Craig Stevens maintains a private practice located in Post Falls, Idaho, and continues to serve through Bonner General Hospital and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. In his capacity with Sandpoint's Bonner General Hospital, Dr. J. Craig Stevens acts as Medical Director of Rehabilitation Medicine Services and Occupational Health. He also travels monthly to Lewiston, Idaho, working with patients at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
